Mined in South Africa, the magnificent 218.50 carat rough stone was astonishing.
Carefully analyzed by our polishing department, it took Safdico six months to obtain two perfectly proportioned vivid yellow diamonds.
The Sarah peaking at 132.43carats was, and still is, the world's largest fancy yellow vivid diamond.
The same 218.50 carat rough stone yielded also "The Little Sarah", a 20.62 carat vivid yellow stone.
