The World's Largest Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond
Mined in South Africa, the magnificent 218.50 carat rough stone was astonishing.
Carefully analyzed by our polishing department, it took Safdico six months to obtain two perfectly proportioned vivid yellow diamonds.
When completed the Sarah was, at 132.43cts, the world’s largest Fancy Vivid Yellow cushion cut diamond at the time.
The same 218.50 carat rough stone yielded also "The Little Sarah", a 20.62 carat vivid yellow cushion.
